胡清华,华中科技大学同济医学院病理生理学系主任,教授,博士生导师;华中学者特聘教授;卫生部呼吸疾病重点实验室副主任;中国病理生理学会缺氧与呼吸专业委员会主任委员;中国生理学会呼吸专业委员会主任委员;国家自然科学基金委员会专家评审组成员。1989年毕业于同济医科大学临床医学系,获学士学位;1994年获同济医科大学博士学位,并留校任教讲师。1996年赴美国约翰霍普金斯大学医学院做博士后研究,并相继于2000年晋升为Instructor,2002年晋升为Assistant Professor。2004年兼任华中科技大学同济医学院讲座教授,2007年全职回国工作。
致力于呼吸与循环系统疾病,包括肺动脉高压的基础和临床相关研究。系列论文发表于国际学术期刊包括Lancet、Circulation、Circulation Research、J Biol Chem、J Cell Sci、Antioxid Redox Signal、Hypertension等。其研究工作获得国家自然科学基金委员会(八次,包括重点、国际交流合作项目)、美国心脏学会(AHA,两次)和美国国立卫生研究院(NIH,一次)的连续资助。曾获美国医学研究联合会(American Federation for Medical Research)颁发的Henry Christian奖,并担任美国心脏学会(AHA)和英国The Wellcome Trust基金会研究项目评审专家,国内外期刊American Journal of Respiratory Cell and Molecular Biology、Circulation、Circulation Research等的审稿人。
